Hello everyone I have beeen making a lot of process with the site. I got emails from a couple of Celebrities and one Government Official so far.
I’m going to keep doing everything in my power to get the results that I want to make this website successful and prosperous. For myself and for millions of people who have Lupus. I ’am dedicated to letting the world know about Lupus and the many disease that are connected with this Lupus SLE. Oh I all most forgot to tell you that I got a letter from by Senator. And this is what he had to say.
Dear Ms. Mccloud:
Thank you for contacting me with your concerns regarding Lupus. It is good to hear from you.
Lupus is a disorder of the immune system known as an autoimmune disease. It causes the body to attack its own healthy cells and tissues. This leads to the inflammation and damage to various body tissues affecting many parts of the body. The most common symptoms of Lupus are extreme fatigue, fever, skin rashes, and kidney problems.
Former President Bush's proposed fiscal year 2009 budget request included $509 million for the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS), which is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The request also included $29.5 billion in appropriations for the NIH. Please know that I will support appropriate funding levels for NIAMS and the NIH as the Senate addresses the fiscal year 2009 Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education appropriations bill.
Beginning in 1998, the Federal government committed itself to doubling the funding of the NIH within five years. My fellow legislators and I worked hard to make this happen, and in 2003 we delivered on our promise to the American people by enacting appropriations of nearly $28 billion for the NIH. The missions of the NIH and the institutes that comprise it, like NIAMS, have greatly benefited from this funding overhaul. We have seen the effects of the doubled funding in the unprecedented advancements that the NIH has made in the research, treatment, and prevention of so many diseases and medical conditions. As your United States Senator, you can be sure that I will continue to support funding for the NIH.
I appreciate hearing from you on this important issue. If I may ever be of assistance in the future as your United States Senator, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Tell me what you think about this letter. I done my duty for today I’m tried and in a lot of pain. I do appreciate you the visiting this website. I May Be down But I’m Not Out. Will continue to fight TO Live and Live to Fight! Please don’t forget to leave a comment. Enjoy the rest of your day. Bye for now.
Cynthia
Peace&Love always
